Hey, now it's time for Mike's Picks. I've found three golf products that I believe every golfer will enjoy. And up first is the Binder Golf Gloves. Now, I have been playing these golf gloves for about 10 years, folks, and I have a few gloves that I've worn many rounds, and they're still in great shape. They're so durable, and they just look great on the course, feel great. Head to bindergloves.com and check out the colors and styles. Now, here's my take. I love the style options, and I love the affordability. Go pick up four styles for less than 100 bucks, and you'll have a durable glove to last you for years. It's bindergloves.com. That's where you get the best gloves in golf. Head over to bindergloves.com to check out the styles and the colors. Next up are Yes Putters. And I got to tell you, for years, my gamer putter, the one that I've always gone back to, is the Yes Tracy. It just fits me, and I hit it straight. So I reached out to Yes, and they sent me the new Tracy II and the Marilyn Mallet. Now, what makes these putters work is that patented precision-milled Arc Face Technology. Now, here's why it works. Most putters actually hit the ball in the air, and they cause it to skid before your golf ball starts to roll. This is a fact if you look at high-speed footage, and it leads to inconsistency. I love the way this putter rolls the ball, clean and smooth, right on a line, and it keeps it there. Plus, the distance control is consistent round after round. Now, I love this new Marilyn. It adds even more alignment features in a smaller mallet design. Now, I endorse Yes Putters, and if you're struggling to hit your putts on line, give them a try. Head to yesputters.com. Finally, I want to tell you about the Rope Club. This is a cool, lightweight training aid that you can use anywhere. And later in the show, top teacher Mike Maggs is going to give you a tip on how to create consistent lag. And the Rope Club is exactly the tool to help you feel it. Now, if you use it correctly, you'll impact the small spinning target perfectly. And the audio feedback on a solid strike of the target lets you know you're swinging that club correctly. I also love it for timing and for training the proper kinematic sequence in your swing. Now, as the Rope Club starts to hit my back, I begin to move my lower half and my front hip, and that generates speed the right way. The Rope Club really helps link up your timing with proper lag. Now, if you head over to golflife.com, you'll find deals on these products and many, many more. So head over to golflife.com right now, and here's that tip on lag from Mike Maggs that we promised. Lag. Most people don't really understand it or how to make it happen. They think it has to do with being really strong and hanging on and hanging on. The more we hang on, the more it really wants to go. What I'm going to show you is, it has a lot to do with what the trail arm is doing and how the body moves in the swing. What I'm doing with my students is I create a one-handed shot here to show as I take it back with my arm and down through with my belt buckle, it's going to create that lag. What we're going to do is a little hard with one hand, we're going to put two hands on. We're going to do the same thing. We're going to keep this very small. We're just going to go club parallel, straight back, going back with our shoulders, and then the downswing is going to be the belt buckle pulling through. To do this, you have to be soft enough in your body and then have your elbow and your wrist just soft enough that it can absorb the change of direction. As we see, right as you're getting to the top, we're going to change directions and go. You're going to keep your head down, let the club go by, and the toe of the club pop right up. So if we see that very simple drill where we take it to parallel right as we're getting to the top, we're going to have a little softness in our wrist and our right elbow, or our trail elbow, and then we're going to shift and release. You can see my head stays down, and I went ahead and let the toe of the club come up. So here we go. Let's see if we can create some lag.
