Hi, I'm Mike malaska and I'm here today with this contraption. So what is it? It's called a swing a line. Now. There's a lot of teaching AIDS out there and most of them I don't like This one I particularly like and I'm going to tell you why first of all. When I put it on it's when the everything that's been about keep your arms together. It's about put a ball between your arms. So you have to hold it in. Well anytime you have to squeeze in that tightens your shoulders what I really like about this. Is it adjust out to the width of your arms when they just hang natural so I've got this suggested to me. So now there's no tension in my arms. I don't feel like I'm pulling in it's just that's just who I am so you can adjust it to you. now when we start with full swing with putting what this does for most people it helps them feel how to line their shoulders and their arms up because most everybody wants to twist their arms and shoulders too much. So this gives you a visual you can even put a stick on the ground where you can see exactly how your arms are supposed to work and what your shoulders are supposed to do. And most people set up this way so I can see that that sticks aimed way to the left. So you have to get it. So the stick is aimed parallel to your target line when you putt. So from a putting perspective, it's great. It's the same with chipping again. What people do is they get too twisty with their shoulders. So what this does is it allows me to get set up and I can see where my arms are lined up. And I don't get set up this way. And then when I chip the ball, I can see it impact I can make sure my right arm is where it should be under my left which then I know where the stick is. So I start to see how to chip the ball. now when I go to full swing it does a lot of really good things. First of all, it gives me a sense of alignment relative to my arms. Most people set up this way they aim to the right and they twist their shoulders Way open. If you look at most the tour players if anything, they're right arm is below their left. So this this swing a line would be actually aimed maybe a little bit to the right of my target now. That's my arms. That's not my shoulders or my body. But here's what I really like about it. Now as I go up to the top by the time I get to waist high in the backswing. This is parallel to a club that's on the ground here. So now I know I've turned completely. And then the club swings up to the top and then it comes down and that stays the same. It doesn't go this way. If anything, I want it to go a little bit this way. But see now I can see when I get to waist high that my shoulders turn. Well now I can see and are my arms level or is one arm higher than the other one, which I don't want. So now I can feel where that is. Now from the top when I start down I want this to start down level. I don't want it pitch in this way now regardless of what you're working on in your swing. There are some teachers now that want this to happen. Okay, if that's what you want to have happen, you can use this swing a line and you can do this with it and tilt that stick so you can see where it's at. I don't happen to like that. So I want it up here and then I want it to come down level and then turn into the ball. So it goes up comes down level. Then I turn into the ball up. Level and turn into the ball. Now the other good thing about this I played nine holes the other day. Never took it off. Drive the cart. Hit my driver. do my putting do my chipping do my bunker shots? Do all my shot never I never had to take it off and I could use it to help myself line and aim and feel what my swing was supposed to do very few products. Can you do that with so I really like this because one it takes the tension out of your arms. Two you get a feel for how you're trying to line your arms up through the ball. Three it gives you a feel for your back swing in a sense of what I'm turned how soon do I get turned one of the things they found biomechanically. Is these tour players? by the time their arms get above waist high their shoulders are almost turned 90 degrees most amateurs when they swing back. What happens they don't rotate? So this helps you to feel and sense if you're rotated. So it takes the tension out gets you rotated and get your arms working in the right sequence and you can see the sticks so you can see if you're going this way or this way. So you start to have a feedback. Visually of what's going on with your swing? So again, there's very few teaching AIDS. I really like. I like this one because what it gets you to feel and it actually takes tension out and like I did the other day. You can go play nine holes and never take it off. If you're practicing. You don't have to eat the balls up you hit balls just sit there and make swings that keeps reminding you of what your swing's supposed to feel like you want to take it off. It's easy to take off. So if you're if you're serious about playing This is going to be a real good product for you to make sure that you're taking control of your setup your swing the path of it and how your swing is working because it's a visual concept along with a feel.
