Welcome to Golf Life. I am so excited to bring in a good friend of mine, someone I've gotten a chance to work with for many years. Mr. Mike Moloka. Mike, thank you so much for joining us here on Golf Life Today. Oh, no problem, Mike. Thank you for the opportunity. I always, uh, look forward to talking to people about golf and something that's been a big part of my life. So let's get after it. Well, first of all, I wanna establish so people know, uh, your background in 2011. I believe it was, it, it it's been a minute. Uh, I believe you were chosen as the PGA Teacher of the year. That's a huge honor. Um, kind of describe that and, and how you got to that level and what you had to do to, to earn that credibility. Getting the National Teacher of the Year was a big deal, was, it was a goal I made for myself in 1990. And the reason I did, and I was gonna do it without any tour players that I was working with full time, uh, because I wanted to kind of regain my credibility and, and I, I could talk to you a little bit about what happened. Back in, in 1990, uh, my partner and I, Peter Gosky, put together a big program for the PGA of America. It's called The Swing Game. And it was very controversial because it attacked pretty much the way they were teaching golf. I went from going around the country, uh, talking to sections, doing all kinds of stuff for the PGA to all of a sudden they, they wouldn't take my phone calls.
