This is Golf Life. Join us this next half hour as we visit Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bali Hai Golf Club for the 11th annual America's Golf Festival. Coming up, we follow some of the teams. Plus, later on, we will show you golf gear, properties, and services who visited America's Golf Expo. This year, over 500 golfers from 113 cities and 34 states competed in America's Golf Festival. The teams come to compete in America's Golf Scramble, a two-day team event that is unmatched, fun, and challenging, with tons of camaraderie and longtime friendships. To kick everything off, the golfers play in the Party Scramble at Bali Hai. This is a great time for the teams to bond and have a blast on a great Vegas golf course. Golf Life has gotten to know these teams, so let's meet some golfers and take you inside their golf round. Texas! So tell me three things that you like about America's Golf Fest. What's one of the three things? Well, I like the model that's going with us right here. That model. . This is my first time here, and it's actually pretty great. So the weather's nice. I'm used to the heat, so it's pretty good right now. The cart girl and the girl that's with us. Sorry, babe. I'm ... You, you're the best. I would say that the beautiful golf courses in this tournament are what brings us out here. Talk about the camaraderie, the teams. We have a lot of boys from Texas, you know what I mean? So we all is like, "Oh, I'm from Lubbock," "I'm from San Antonio," "I'm from Harlingen," so it's just meeting- Yeah ... it's pretty cool to see everybody around the country as well, so. So it looks like you guys found two of America's golf finest ladies here. How about that? Oh, 1,000%, Mike. They have been fantastic, reading the greens, raking the bunkers, everything that we could ever ask for, we've gotten from these young ladies. I'm the best- Best bunker raker ... bunker raker right here. You're a bunker raker? Yeah, right here. They're always in the sand. Yeah, they've been great. The whole round's been awesome. Getting to meet them today, they've been helping us on the greens, fairways, everything. You name it. So we've been real happy. Great day. Great day. You guys having any fun? Yeah, always. Oh, best fun ever- It's always fun out here on Bali Hai ... at Bali Hai. What would you tell a group to come out here? The platinum tees, easy. Everybody's being polite, but when you hit into us, you have a tee and a temp lawn on your ball. Mm-hmm. Is that something you created? That's something I'm doing right here. Mm-hmm. What is it that you love about America's Golf Festival, besides, obviously, the ladies? The camaraderie with the other golfers, getting to know a couple of the other guys, coming out here and having the ability to play on some premier courses, and just have fun. We've been doing this for probably four or five years now. If you have not been out to Bali Hai, come out here to Bali Hai and enjoy yourself. It is . America's Golf Fest, you've done it a few times. Tell me why. It's a beautiful course. We're in Vegas. We're having fun. Just living. What about these ladies? I mean, trouble. I don't think so. Not the bad kind. Well, obviously, we're good-look charms, first of all. We can read the green for them and help them get set up, and I think just having good people with you while you golf makes it even more enjoyable. Where are you guys from? Oregon. Tell me how you found out about this event and who put it together. I got an ad on Facebook, and I was like, "Hey, boys, we need a team. We want to win. Let's go out there and cash out some money, hopefully." And this is the squad right here. We got a little bit of everything. We got the driver, the putter, and all-around game here. Wait till you get the other team. The camaraderie that this event has is unmatched. They come, they're all dressed in the same thing. They've been doing this for years. They'll be getting in your heads. It's a lot of fun. If another team's going to talk more than we tweet- That's it ... good luck, good luck. I'm Johnny from Oregon. This is my boy, Bryson. That's Sauu, he's the worst golfer in the group. Yeah, yeah. And that's Josh right there. Arctic Fox, man, all the ladies, ooh, can't keep them off him. So, where are you going to put this ball at? I'm going to hopefully right side of the green, about 50 feet to the right. I hope so. Where'd you put your ball? Way out, way over there. Doesn't matter where my ball's at. I'm just here for the vibes, man. He's playing army golf. Left, right, left, right. Let's go. Holy , do I need to tee off? We brought him for one reason, and that's right, you just saw it. That's why we brought him. I don't know. He might show you something tonight if you- No, I'm- I don't want to see. I don't want to see that. Whatever that is, you keep that to yourself. Oh. He's been waiting for you guys all day. Oh, let's go. That was piped down the middle. Help it. Oh. Oh! Go. Yeah. Come on. Now he won, now he won. Now he- Take that out, take that out. No, you can't have it. Oh. That's it. That's the best drive he's had all day. So I got a new name. Last year, we had the Yum Yums, which was much better than the Good Goods. Yeah. You guys are the We're Golfians. I like it. We're Golfians. Let's go, baby. We're Golfians. Come on. We are the We're Golfians. A little freaky-deaky. I love coming out here and spending time with the boys. My lady golfs, his lady golfs, so spending time with the family out here. We're all members at a private country club in Oregon, Creekside. We love it there. There's no other sport like this. Well, what's nice about the sport is it's the only sport you play your entire life. Good thing about this part, right, is the connections you make, right? A lot of times you get out here and you meet people from all over the world. You meet people, we play band in a lot, we play other live tracks. We go out, we meet people that we never would've thought we would've met before. Well, even last night, playing blackjack, guys like, "I'm from Texas, I'm playing tomorrow." Go, go, go, go. Ready to come, baby. Oh! Oh! What's going on? Yeah. That's him. That's him. That's why they bring me. That's why they bring me. Me, So, Johnny, hand in hand. Oh, yeah. Oh, dude, that's a*s. Oh my God. Now get in the hole, baby. Oh. Come on. Oh. Let's go. We're going to let him putt first because, just, you want the solo birdie by yourself? Oh, yeah. Okay, let's go. Come on. It's his birdie. It's his birdie. Oh, it's his birdie the entire hole. Yeah, baby. Let's go. Hey, can I carry your club for you? Yeah, I'll carry the club because I haven't done anything this hole. I don't think it's raining, but I need this though. Yeah, we do need the eagle. Honestly, if we're going to win, we actually need this eagle, for real. Go in the hole. Go in the hole. Oh, come on. Man. One more to go. Man, we thought we could hold it down. Walk it in. Oh my God. 0% chance of making, it doesn't get past the hole. 0%. God, dude, off. Let's pick up your skirt. Get in the bar. Nice par. All right. Nice par. All right. Thank you for having us. It's called America's Golf Festival. Good round. Good round, thank you. The Orgolfians, we came to have a good time. We held your hand today, didn't we? We held your hand today, didn't we? Thanks, Golf Life. Thanks, America's Golf Festival. Appreciate you guys. Thank you, guys. Thank you, guys. Thank you. This year, many golf exhibitors visited to show off their products and services for your golf life. Here's our host, Mike Billingsley. Look at this trike. This is David Bierman with Trike. Tell me more about this new golf trike. So, this is a police patrol vehicle that's been adapted to carry a full-sized golf bag. This is awesome. What I like about it a lot, David, is that these are established out there. They're using them at airports, they're using them in municipalities. So now take it to the golf course for me. Right. So it folds flat, weighs about 100 pounds total. You can put it in an SUV, easily unload it. Lithium-ion battery will take you 36 holes of play on a single battery charge. All-wheel drive. You can go up and down all the hills on a course. If your foursome has trikes, you all go to hit your next shot and there's no more cart golf. Yeah, single-rider vehicles cut golf down dramatically. This is an awesome idea. How do I find out more and get a trike if I'm in a community, a golf community, where I could go out on my country club, that kind of thing? Trike's in Buellton, California. The website is trikemobility.com, T-R-I-K-E mobility dot com. Well, what I love about it, again, is that Trike is established. They're in airports, they're in municipalities, and now they're going to be on your golf course. Trike, you got to get one. Well, I found Casey Roberts. She's going to find me a trip to Africa because you're an expert at this- Okay ... and you get to meet your friends, huh? Absolutely, yeah. Guided golf tours to South Africa. We do South Africa and Mauritius, which is the Maldives Bora Bora of Africa, and then Australia as well. So you make the travel and airfare and all of that a lot easier because it is challenging, right? Yes, and that's why it's fully guided, because we want to take you, we take care of everything. So I've traveled the world. I've done a lot of solo travel, everything. The best way to travel is if you just rock up, you don't have to worry about anything. We worry about all the transports, the tee times, the restaurants, everything, the tours, everything's taken care of. Tell me a little bit about South Africa's courses and what- Sure. I mean, they're amazing. I know this. Yeah. So they've got some of the most iconic courses in the world, some of the best golfers have come out of South Africa. So, one of the courses we go to is the Gary Player Golf Course, which is at Sun City. We go to Leopard Creek, which is the Alfred Dunhill Championship. We also go to Alkuzu, which is the most dangerous golf course in the world. Why is that? The wild animals are free to roam. These guys? Yeah, they're free to roam. Yeah, they're not as friendly as these guys look. Yeah. You have a caddy that'll take you around. You have to sign a waiver before you go on board. But yeah, it's an incredible course. You get to wander around and you have a very high chance of seeing some wildlife while you're playing. That's awesome. Casey, how do I find out more? Because I'm ready to go to Africa with you. Amazing. Go to our website, www.guidedgolftours.com, and there you can download any of our brochures for any of our tours, send us an email, book a call with us. Awesome. Guided Golf Tours. Jason Corso, he's not Lee, but he's got the hat. That's me. Not the big one, but really stylish hats. Yeah. Tell me about your hats. Bolder colors, bolder designs, inviting more people to play. The company is, I didn't ask- Lbow Golf ... L-B- Lbow, Live Boldly, Overcome Weakness. I like that so much. These hats are custom-made, so they're venting. Yes, man. You're thinking about it a lot of things there. Very lightweight, very detailed on the designs. Yeah. A little bit of detail on the brim. Yeah. We call this our sandwich hat. Man, it's- I love it. And this, you have apparel for both men and women. Women's and kids. So match mom and dad and your next look- And it's bold. That's it. Focus. Bold looks. Bold colors, bold designs. That's what we're about. I really love the designs for women. I think women are going to go nuts over your stuff. Yes. Because you got some ladies that know what they're doing. They do, man. And look, they've been expected to just put on a men's polo and figure it out, but now we've got... I love this brand. How do I get it? How do my viewers get it? Follow us at LbowGolf on social media. Yep. Lbowgolf.com online. Now you get some Lbow for yourself at lbowgolf.com. Thanks, Jason. That's it. Thanks, man. Appreciate it. Awesome. Hey, folks, we want to introduce you to a new partner on "Golf Life," Rovo Strategy, and they are investing in technology for humanoid robots. Tonight, we're in San Francisco at Rec2. This is something you got to see. Go, boys. Oh. It's going so much faster than I thought because I've been in robotics for such a long time, and it's been glacial. We've been slowly moving along, moving along, and suddenly now things are just taking off. And part of it is that we've gone from robots that were just these big honking arms that moved in the factories to now they're humanoids and they're entertaining us. So tonight, we're here about to see two of the biggest robots that usually do robot combat here in the US for the first time. And to me, that's kind of exciting because I never thought about robots actually battling each other. I thought about them building car bodies and stuff like that. So it's really an exciting time to be a roboticist because not only is there more interest, there's more people that want to do this. I mean, come on, we got a crowd here. If I said, "Hey, I got a robot. You want to come over and see it?" No one would show up. Now look at what we got here. Look at the energy. It won't be long until we see that they can be completely autonomous. The question is, is that going to be interesting? I think we still want that human element in there. So I hope it's like F1, we always have someone driving the car. F1 is not street legal. However, everything we've learned from F1 makes our cars safer and everything else. We are stress testing. Engineers break things. That's the whole idea. When you build something, you have to put it under stress to see when it breaks. What better way to put it under stress than to actually have it boxing? The only way to tell when something is going to break is put it in an unusual situation. This is not a normal situation. The most important part of the robot are the hands. That's where the manipulation goes. Today, we're not seeing the robots really doing anything. Their hands are clenched, they're not really moving, and it's all about locomotion. They're able to move around. That's already a very, very hard problem. We seem to have solved that problem. Now we need to move into manipulation. But in a sense, these robots are already useful because they're paying their way, aren't they? When people are willing to pay for the entertainment, that means they're already useful, and they will be useful as entertainers before they're useful in production. That's what we're trying to do, is we're trying to figure out are the robots that we're looking at really something that's going to be saleable and useful? Right now, we are seeing a lot of proof of concepts, which are very good. The question is whether the proof of concepts convert to real deployments. And so we're already seeing a form of deployment here where this is a business model based on a humanoid robot, and either it's a successful model or it's not. And I think it is a successful model because there's a lot of interest for people to come to see the entertainment. And the next version, of course, is going to be the robots doing more useful work in factories, and that's coming now. We've already seen it. We'll be seeing more of it by the time the year is over. So Rovo Strategy is looking at those companies that will be the disruptors, and that's what we're working on solving in here. And that's why Rovo Strategy has been investing in those companies that we think is working on that long-term strategy. We have more "Golf Life" when we return. So yeah, we actually started out with the Drive for Show line. So we worked with the World Long Drive. Obviously, these guys love the Drive for Show line. They took off. They took off. So then we went to the Putt for Dough line. We had to finish the euphemisms. And I really love this customized hat with your logo, Kelly Green. These are really well made, and you can actually do custom with your logos, right? Absolutely. So typically what we do is we can do rubber, we can do embroidered, just about anything that you want to do. Only thing that we ask is to put our brand on the side or here. Yeah, of course. You make this really quality hat. It's very well made. Yeah. A sweatband. It's got the venting. It's a very high-end hat. But you're also getting into apparel. Tell me about that. Obviously, you see the black apparel that I have on now with our company logo on it. Nice looking. We have a couple other patterns that we have as well. Yeah, I noticed the splatter patterns. You really have some very cool looks. I love this one with the golf cart. That's excellent. Oh, yeah. We have a pool, fitness center, full restaurant, banquet room. We have it all. Wow. Let's go to Laughlin. What do you say? Let's go to Laughlin. All right. 90 miles south of Las Vegas. Shane Treblanch from South Africa joins me with a concept in tees that I really love. Tell me about it. Well, these are indestructible. Okay. So it's an engineered polymer. You really can't break these. You can play an entire round with it. And then we have a soft silicone head. Yeah. It's really forgiving on the club face. Right. And bright colors, people always easily- Pick it up easily ... find it. Yeah. And this- They can see the glitter, right? This tee is also a really great concept, right? Yeah. So the concept here is we have a fixed-height tee. So you just shove it into the ground- Yeah ... and it'll always be at the height that you want it. One is 38 millimeters, the other one 48 millimeters. So you've got that. Great range. Shane, I know my viewers are going to want this, and they last forever. Last forever. Where do you get a pack? Cooling, water, everything. So we designed this thing to go into golf carts. Okay. After we'd made it the Yeti of this personal fan world, we were like, "Wow, why not just make this for golf carts? Let's make it for everything." So then we added on all of our mounting brackets. That's brilliant. You put water in here, right? Mm-hmm. Now it's cooling, really cooling here in hot Vegas. Yeah, we don't want to just give you a hair dryer to blow more hot air on you. And he's got magnet mounts. Tell me some of the mounts you got. Oh, we got suction cups. We have cup holders, so if you want to bring it to a ballgame or something like that- Yeah ... throw it in the back of the chair in the cup holder. It can be used anywhere. And it is so chill. So I'm a boutique travel agency specializing in river and luxury ocean cruises, and curated land packages. So you know it all. Yes, sir. Tell me more about how you can help and what the details are that I can't find out on my own. I have contacts, first off, at all the cruise lines and the tour companies, and so I'll be able to help you curate things the way you wouldn't be able to figure it out, even with AI. And I take care of everything from by the time you leave your home to the airport till the time you get back to your bed after your travels. And I got to pay you a lot for this. You pay me nothing. Wow. How's that work? That's because I get paid by the cruise lines and the tour companies. That's brilliant. So Journeys by Anne, I can learn about your detailed work that you do to help me with my travel, because my wife wants to do a river cruise. I want to play golf. Okay. JourneysbyAnne.com, is that where I find out? Yes, sir. Excellent. Journeys by Anne. Is your true metalhead coming out? We got Four Bow Golf and Robbie Hinson. Hi. What is this? This is an awesome line. I love it. Yeah, so we're a little different than what you typically see on the golf course. We're embracing the darker side of golf. The Megadeth. The Megadeth. The metalhead, yeah. We have the bunkers and the bogeys and the out of bounds and stuff. So we got your skeletons and skulls. I love this, yeah. Yeah, so- What do people like about it? It's just different. The influence is we saw a lot of the same stuff on the golf course and we wanted to do something a little different. So that's why we came with the skeleton and the skull logo. It's something that we think is inside of everybody. Oh, there's definitely that side to a lot of us. Yeah, for sure. It ties to music. It ties to your culture. So I love it. Definitely. Four Bow Golf, where do I get it? FourBowGolf.com. Use code FOURBOW10, you get 10% off, and we'll ship next day to everybody. All right. Four Bow Golf, get some. Thanks for having us out here today. It's the Pitch and Putt Pro. Holds any three clubs. My partner and I got tired of losing clubs, leaving them around the greens. It can hold any three clubs, but during a round, you put two wedges and a putter in it. It fastens on your bag, and when you get up to the green, you don't have to look for the clubs. You pull it off the bag- Stick it in the ground ... stick it on the ground. So now you see it standing there. You pick it up, you walk, you set it on your bag, you're ready for the next hole.
