Today on Golf Life, we are in Las Vegas for the 10th annual America's Golf Festival. Welcome To America's Golf Festival. Wow. 500 golfers from 108 cities across 29 states are teeing off at the stunning Alley High Golf Club. Join us as we dive into this incredible event and follow one of our favorite teams to capture the fun and excitement. We talked with the event creators, Paul and Leslie Christensen, as they celebrate a decade of this popular golf tournament. I think the most important thing that we have with this event is fun, right? People come out here with some buddies trip. Um, guys get together. There's groups out there. That one's coming in from Seattle, the other one's coming in from Ohio. And I mean, we have teams from 29 different states and I think 115 different cities this year. Uh, so it truly is America's golf Festival. Yeah, it's unique. It's taken a lot of work to get to this point. He, he had this idea, um, of this event and it started with his dissertation. Really? Yeah. We perfected it over the years. Yeah. It took off part of my dissertation. And, uh, this started out with local qualifying events for the first year. We ran 200 local qualifiers across the country, and then we just decided to make it all one big championship. So everybody gets to go to Vegas if they wanna come. It's impressive. We've been able to, uh, keep it going for this long, but we're bringing something that people desire and, um, it's Vegas and golf and yeah, it's a lot of fun. This is a people's event. You ask them what they want and we try to give it to 'em. I mean, there's people that are coming.…
