Aimee Cho is a young female golfer with a big following on YouTube. What makes Aimee unique is that all her golf tips on her channel are in two different languages; English and Korean. We met up with Aimee Cho at Friendly Hills Golf Club to get a lesson on downhill lies and the best way to handle these situations while you are out on the golf course.

Downhill lies could be one of the most difficult shots to hit in golf. There are so many things that can go wrong with this shot like hitting fat or thin and going right and left. Aimee Cho is here to get you back on track with this difficult shot. There are a couple of things you need to do in order to be successful in a situation like this!

  1. Club Down: Making sure you have the right club in your hands is very important.
  2. Move the Golf Ball in Your Stance: Move the ball about 1-2 balls BACK in your stance.
  3. Shoulders: Make sure your shoulders get parallel to the ground.
  4. Weight: Keep your weight about 60-40 on your front foot.
