Golf Life TV: June 2016

In this episode of Golf Life TV, we take you on a journey into the private golf course lifestyle. We show you how the course and the members work together, the perks of being a member on a private golf course and where private golf courses are going in the near future. Private golf course membership is not for everyone, but we think it is important for everyone to know what is happening with them and where they are going!

We also take you out to the Champions Tour where were we met up with Steve Jones, who has 10 career professional wins and US Open Champion, where he gives us some putting advice and golf advice in general. Jones says that the most important thing is to find what you are good at and get better at them. Then, you find what you need work with and establish a better training method. In Steve’s case, he has been advanced in the driving and putting business, but he has been struggling as of late with the chipping. So he puts in the hours on the range and putting green, but he doesn’t overlook the fact that he needs work with the wedges.

Then we head out to Arizona where we met up with Mike Malaska. Mike is a Top Teacher in the golf industry and he has a lot of tricks to help your golf game better. In this particular drill he teaches us the right way to hold the putter. Many people don’t know which pointer finger in their lead finder. Malsaka show us how to find that and how to use it to your advantage.

Finally, we head out to California where we met up with the Director of Instruction at the Big Horn Golf Club, Dale Abraham. Abraham has a unique way of teaching his students. Instead of giving them drills right off the bat, he diagnosis their swing to find the flaw and then gives them the appropriate drill to fix that flaw. Co-Host Colton Little goes one-on-one and gets schooled by Dale Abraham!
