Setup to Putts Properly with this Putting Tip

Steve Atherton is a Top Teacher that resides inColorado at the Vail Valley and Eagle Spring Golf Club! Steve has worked with many professionals and has been taught by many Top Teachers himself! In this putting tip, we go inside the proper way to setup for a putt!

There are really two distinct problems people have when they are going to putt. 1. They don’t setup correctly to the ball and 2. They allow the club face to rotate too much through the stroke which makes your putts very inconsistent! In this putting tip, the big 1st step in setting up is to get our eyes over the golf ball or a little inside the golf ball. A good checking tool is the let your bottom had release from the club and allowing it to swing in the line you want the putter to go. If your had doesn’t go in the line, adjust your feet!
