Craig Stadler has been around the PGA Tour for many years and recently making his comeback on the Champions Tour! Stadler got his start in golf in 1973 when he turned professional after attending USC. Craig has been the winner major tournaments like the 1982 Masters, the 1982 World Series of Golf and the 1991 Tour Championship! It has been no secret that Stadler has made his name for himself in the game of golf after appearing in the hit Blockbuster “Tin Cup” in 1996. With many years in the business and a lot of money won, Stadler has tons of information to help the ammeter golfer out! In this particular short game tip, Craig shows us how to over come a downhill chip with water and how to properly navigate the green in situations like this!

The first thing that Craig points out in this short game tip is to recognize your surroundings. He is on a downhill lie with water on the other side causing fear in the club choice and how to strike the golf ball.  He shows us what not to do, by hitting the golf ball in the water the first time, then makes the adjustment you need to make to the golf ball lands soft on the green and close to the pin.
